"There are so many great options!" Loreal Sarkisian, wife of Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, shared her excitement about her game-day outfit choices for the Week 2 showdown between Texas and Michigan. With the highly anticipated matchup approaching, Loreal is debating whether to wear white, teasing fans and fashion followers alike about her final choice ,

"It's been great because of the culture that's already established here," Martindale said. "I had a leg up because I worked for Coach Jack [Harbaugh] at Western Kentucky, where we won a national championship. Then, obviously, with John for 10 years. We all met back in '96, so I had an idea of the culture. When Sherrone and I started talking on the phone, it wasn’t about a job offer at first. After that first hour, I hung up the phone and told my wife, ‘I want to work with this guy.’"

Martindale's respect for Moore has only grown during their time together at Michigan.

"He's the real deal," Martindale said of Moore. "What stands out is how he wants to elevate everyone—coaches, players, especially the players. He’s always engaging with the team. Whether it's talking to position groups, on the field, or sitting in meetings, you can see how the kids react to him. It’s pretty special."

Sherrone Moore exuded confidence in Michigan's roster, even after key departures to the NFL. During a live interview on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show on Friday, Moore addressed the loss of 2023 starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy and the transition to a two-quarterback system with Davis Warren and Alex Orji as they prepared for their matchup against No. 3 Texas.

"Losing a guy like J.J. is always going to be a story, but we feel really good about our guys," Moore said. "We had a solid week of preparation, so we’re excited for tomorrow."

The battle at the line of scrimmage will likely be a key factor in this Top 10 showdown in Ann Arbor. Michigan boasts one of the most formidable defensive lines in college football, but they'll face a strong Texas offensive line.

On the flip side, Michigan lost its top six offensive linemen from last season, while Texas saw starting defensive tackles Byron Murphy and T'Vondre Sweat drafted in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft. Michigan's retooled offensive line struggled initially in Week 1 against Fresno State but found its rhythm as the game progressed.

"The best part is that, except for one redshirt freshman, our O-line is made up of juniors and seniors," Moore said. "These guys may not have been full-time starters last year, but they’ve played a lot of football and gained valuable experience.
